China's Southwest is known for its laid-back attitude, relaxed lifestyle and fertile fields. There's also a burgeoning tech sector and lots of manufacturing. In Chengdu, one of the Southwest's largest cities (with Chongqing), the concentrated wealth of a region the size of Spain mixes with this cultural attitude.
Chengdu's booming economy and relatively high per-capita income mean it's a leader in another area: fashion. You see a truly stupendous range of clothing, from that-old-set-of-pyjamas-you-wear-to-buy-watermelon (it's a thing) to gear that looks like it's straight of a rap music video to jackets printed with beautifully nonsensical English.
What follows is a collection of some of the most noteworthy, fantastical fashion spotted over the past couple of years.

The price at which this will happen is more than 20 times what their stock is trading at now. Literally at 23 bucks a share from a current 80 cents.
